While working at Dévelp agency, client DRU (manufacturer of gas fires & stoves)
, asked for a way that would help get the name DRU
top-of-mind by consumers in Holland, looking to purchase a new built in gas fire. Because of their research showing that installers work with any brand that gives them the best profit, DRU decided it wanted to communicate directly to the customer and therefore create demand and get the brand noticed.
Together with Black Rooster, who designed and programmed the application, we came up with an application using Augmented Reality that made consumers see directly which fire places would work in their living rooms. By implementing social media and other media channels, the ‘rumor around the brand’ was quickly achieved.
